Parent
As a parent, your skills and experience are much in demand.
- Parentline Plus – relies on parents to run the helpline. Volunteers usually do one (four hour) shift per week. New volunteers are always welcome – especially men.
- Parents Helpline in Northern Ireland need volunteers to offer a listening ear, support, and guidance to people facing any kind of family difficulty.
- Home-Start supports thousands of parents who are struggling to cope and need support for many reasons, including post-natal depression, disability, bereavement, illness, or social isolation.
- If you’ve got a disabled child, why not join Contact a Family’s network of volunteer parent representatives and provide support and advice to other families.
