Unfortunately, there isn’t a quick way to look for roles that take on parents with your children. The best way to find out is to ask the charity directly.

Here at TimeBank, Sharon our Partnership Manager did just that and took their children along to volunteer with 300 other volunteers to pull weeds at Kew Gardens as part of their Save the Bluebells weekend.

Posting a question on Netmums might be a useful shortcut.  And if you don’t mind baby related volunteering, the NCT is always after volunteers to help.

Also even though it may not be directly with your children, have you thought about volunteering at your child’s school? There are many ways you could get involved, becoming a school governor is one. With around 350,000 governor places in England, governors are the largest volunteer force in the country.
