Claire Hardy

Claire has worked as a successful consultant and senior manager in the public and third sectors for over ten years. From 2005-7 she lived in Nepal as a VSO volunteer, also writing a book her (very varied!) time there. While in Nepal she supported a number of charities to improve their management, working particularly with those affected by HIV and AIDS, drug users and older people. Her recent work as a self-employed consultant includes helping a leading regulatory body to develop its future strategy, and strengthening partnership working between local authorities, health primary care trusts and regional bodies. Claire has been a refugee mentor with Time Bank and has written for a number of publications about overcoming the challenges of delivering improvement in the third and public sectors.
