Pupil Support Volunteer
Pupil Support Volunteer
Organisation: Breakspeare School
Volunteers at Breakspeare School help support pupils in many different ways. You can help in the classrooms by working with individual pupils or small groups of pupils under direction of the class teacher and with support from the learning Support Assistants. Some volunteers help feed the children at lunchtime and help them to access games and toys for leisure.
Volunteers help with sports activities, music and arts groups. Volunteers also help pupils with their physiotherapy programmes, either in the hydrotherapy pool or in PE lessons. Other volunteers have helped with admin or preparing of teaching materials.
We always have opportunities available and welcome anyone who is willing to engage with our disabled pupils. Volunteers are welcomed and supported by school staff.
