Employee Volunteering
TimeBank makes rewarding employee volunteering accessible to everyone
Research shows that volunteering helps staff develop leadership, decision-making and negotiation skills. It can also help staff develop as individuals, boost morale and improve retention*. But we’re not here to give you an endless list of facts and figures to convince you of the benefits of employee volunteering. We’re here to make things as easy as possible for you and your employees to get involved so you can experience these benefits for yourselves.
During the Covid-19 pandemic we’re offering companies opportunities for their staff to volunteer online. We’ve all been reliant on the internet to keep in touch with friends and family during the pandemic, so imagine how difficult it has been for those who find it challenging to use technology. Corporate volunteers can support isolated older people through Zoom Techy Tea Parties where guests can ask questions about the things they’re struggling with, such as downloading apps, sending emails and using streaming services. Take a look at how you can get involved.
