On Give and Gain Day 2014 we're working with CEB on its global volunteering initiative
CEB, the leading member-based advisory company, will kick-off its fourth annual Global Impact Day on Friday 16 May, bringing skills-based expertise and manual service to more than 50 organisations in 50 cities and 25 countries worldwide.
As part of this annual day of service, the company will close its offices around the world to allow approximately 3,000 staff around the world to volunteer in their local communities.
- 3,000 CEB employees worldwide will dedicate day of service to improve local communities
- 600 CEB employees will volunteer at 17 projects in deprived areas across London
- CEB's Global Impact Day takes place on Friday May 16 which is also Give and Gain Day - the UK's national day of employee volunteering
In the UK, CEB has partnered with national volunteering charity TimeBank for the second year in a row, to co-ordinate volunteering projects for CEB employees across London.
CEB volunteers will get involved in a wide range of initiatives - building community gardens, protecting wildlife, renovating community spaces, refurbishing local schools and revitalising parks and children's sensory gardens.

TimeBank is a national volunteering charity, started in 2000.
